Shield shaped palette with stylized double bird head motif at top. Both heads are chipped at the beak. One face is abraded from use, and is splattered with unknown dark stains. The other face is encrusted with cement like patina.

From Abydos, Osiris Temenos, level 0. 1902: excavated by William Matthew Flinders Petrie for the Egypt Exploration Fund, assigned to the Egypt Exploration Fund in the division of finds by the government of Egypt, received by the MFA through subscription to the Egypt Exploration Fund on November 17, 1902.
