Obverse: Head of Ariarathes IV to right, wearing a diadem with long fillet ends.
Reverse: Athena standing left on ground line, wearing crested Corinthian helmet, girdled chiton and aegis; on extended right hand, Nike crowning king’s name with wreath; left lowered, resting on upright shield with Gorgoneion, and holding spear slanting upwards.
