Description1 Cent, 1798. OBV: LIBERTY- thick date above and below draped bust of Liberty right, hair loosely bound by floating fillet. Upright limb of R nearer hair, upright limb of T half in advance of hair. 8 near drapery. Legend well above head, date well below bust. Defects behind bust. REV: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around ONE-CENT within laurel wreath, 1/100 below. Words in wreath are wide. T covered by leaf(?). Edges: ONE HUNDRED FOR A DOLLAR[hand-drawn marks]
