This cut-out drawing in gouache painted on black paper illustrates a brooch depicting a yellow gold flower with green gold leaves and stem. The flower is enhanced by diamond stamens set in white metal, with a cascade of graduated blue (sapphire?) cabochons on each of the four petals. The stem of each of the two leaves is created by a row of round diamonds.
