Black and white silk damask print
The pattern is an amorphic design of white with black dots, and areas of black with white dots. The bodice is trimmed with a collar of "lace" in cut black silk satin and a neck ruffle of scalloped white tulle decorated with small applied dots of black silk velvet. The skirt waistband has the dressmaker's label: Masson-Templier, 191, Rue St. Honore et seccursale, 5, Rue Castiglione- PARIS. Hooks and eyes fasten the skirt. White lace trim on cuffs. Condition: very good. Worn by Mrs. George W. Dickinson, aunt of donor.
