Deep cream finely ribbed silk ground with large-scale flowers, foliage and ornamental scrolls brocaded in brilliant polychrome silks; small details of design in ground figure. Narrow ruffles of bobbin lace on sleeves. Fabric is English Spitalfields silk. Remodeled about 1840.
