Woman’s gown Ground: cream-colored lace muslin (cotton gauze with open-work pattern). Design: flowers, leaves, heads of grain, embroidered down the front and around bottom of skirt, with coarse cream-colored cotton, inlaid, outline, button-hole, and knot stitches. Gown made with short-waist, short sleeves, and train. Belonged to Mrs. Moses Levy (Mary Pearce) of Blatimore, 1762-1850. Upper part remodeled, pink ribbon added.
