DescriptionDress of pale yellow silk crèpe trimmed with cream silk Maltese lace, high neck, elbow length sleeves, slightly bloused in front, slight train in back of skirt, most of bodice and sleeves trimmed with lace, long rectangular panels in front and back of skirt, border with lace, loose panel of crèpe down center back. Made by a French dress maker; worn by donor's mother, Mrs. J. Chalmers Hale, of Kansas City, Missouri.
