Of Chinese damask. A dress of deep blue silk damask in pattern of sacred symbols against a cloud background, dress made in one piece, “princesse” line in back with fullness of skirt in deep pleats and longer in back to form train, high round neck with short standing collar, hooked down center front, long sleeves, skirt front draped across front from side seams and hooked at waistline under pleats at back, belt of self material set in at side back seams and hooks at front, bottom of skirt, as far back as train, trimmed with garlanded draperies, bows at peaks of garlands and edged with pleated self ruffling.
