DescriptionWhite silk dress of taffeta with minute imbricated scalloped pattern of weft floats; (a) bodice: wide flaring neckline with cotton cord through casing, short straight sleeves with silk ribbon edging inside, boned and pointed center front and back, laced down center back, and tape tabs sewn inside side seams that hang down with small hook sewn to each end; (b) skirt: full with greatest fullness at back, all fullness pleated into white taffeta waistband, bottom of skirt lined with buckram (about 13 3/4" wide)
