White ribbed silk brocaded in blue-green, blues and orange red (from Spitalfields, England, 1725-1730). Symmetrical design of central spray of decorative flowers and leaves flanked by interlacing ribbons. Said to have been worn by Lydia Hutchinson. (1723- ), daughter of Edward Hutchinson, Treasurer of Harvard College. These had been in the Museum since 1887, as the loan of the Misses Howe of Cambridge.
