Dress in two parts (overdress)

Overdress (a) of sage green compound satin, showing pattern of small scale floral sprigs tied into ribbon garlands. Shallow pointed bodice, trimmed with gathered panels of white satin with green pile, and mull. Leg-of mutton sleeves with green velvet cuffs. Connected skirt gathered behind, open in front. Underskirt (b) faced with white satin showing powder of conventional leaves and anthemion border, all in green pile. Linings and trimmings worn. A few reddish brown stains on overdress.
