Dress or a shift for a child made in a convent in Mexico City, sent to Rebecca Virginia Moorhead in New York. White linen. Short bodice and sleeves. Skirt gathered, with a narrow band of smocking, at front and back. Bands of drawnwork, showing darned and knotted stitches, aroind neck and sleeves. All edges trimmed with a narrow serrated border. Same, front and back. Wide light brown stain runs entirely around middle of skirt.
