Dress, petticoat, and stomacher (dress)

Formal dress. White silk satin brocaded with polychrome silks and gilt yarns in chinoiserie motifs. Robe: square neckline, white net panels at front line interlaced with white plush cording and polychrome silks and gilt flowers and tassels, sack (Watteau) back; short fitted sleeves with fullness gathered at back of shoulder seam, double asymmetrical trimmed ruffles; V-front waistline; skirt with panier-accomodating fullness. Tie-on apron skirt and stomacher trimmed as robe front line with scalloped ruffle.
