Beautiful peacock blue glaze; ornament of birds and geometrical pattern in black; large piece missing and restored; underside plain.


In the New Kingdom, attractive blue bowls with black-painted designs appear among the many different objects made of blue-glazed faience. As the contents were drunk, the charming designs on the interior appeared.
