Interior: Within a meander border, a maenad, wreathed with ivy, wearing Ionic chiton and leopard skin, moves to right, her head turned back, she holds thyrson in right hand, snake in left. Meaningless lettering in field.
Exterior: on each side a maenad between two Seileni. Severe style. Handles and foot missing.
By 1913: with E.P. Warren (according to Warren's records: fr. Cervetri.); purchased by MFA from E. P. Warren, January 2, 1913, for $18,948.70 (this figure is the total price for MFA 13.186-13.245)
