Of the painted decoration, only faint traces and incised lines remain. The rim on both sides is decorated with egg-pattern. On one side, there is a red and yellow fillet below the rim, framed by incised lines. Below this are a row of dots and a large grapevine with a red central stripe and grapes and leaves. Vertical red stripes seem to support the ends of the vine. On the other side, three pendant ivy vines with incised stems hang from the egg-pattern on the rim; a rosette filled one of the intervals. The lower body is reserved, with a single black stripe. Compare CVA Naples 3, pl. 73, 3.
