DescriptionThis drop-shaped globular jar is fashioned of a buff-colored marl clay. It has a rounded base, a short, constricted concave neck, and a rolled rim.
ProvenanceFrom Kerma, Cemetery S, grave 1400A. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
