White leather upper embroidered with gilt-silver yarns and wire in cross motif on vamp; gilt-silver galloon and red silk binding across throat. Round toe. Flat cork heel covered with white cotton, top piece. Leather sole. Tan leather insole and lining. Condition: poor, most of white leather upper and heel covering missing.

Provenance

Said to have belonged to pope Clement XI (1700-21).
