DescriptionBand of crewel work, white linen ground (five pieces) with floral sprays embroidered in dark and medium blue wool; solid areas of flowers, berries, and leaves in Roumanian couching or New England laid stitch; stems in stem and herringbone stitches; dots in flowers in seed and bullion stitches; probably from a petticoat border; stained, several holes.
