The ground is of yellow corded silk. The design of the main field consists of columns surmounted by vases of flowers connected by acanthus leaves in anthemion. From the anthemion hangs a heavy lighted lamp. The main border has a design of flowers and bowknots. The guard bands have a design of interlacing lines and four petaled forms, worked with laid work and long and short stitch and with various shades of pink, blue, violet, green and black silk and silver thread. Edged with silver fringe and lined with red glazed cambric.
