Ground: coarse glazed linen; plain selvedge on both sides. Stained and worn at edges. Design: simple Kufic inscription (.01 high), embroidered crudely in outline stitch with dark blue silk. Inscription: “A.L.M.” (standing for “God the Gracious the Glorious”) or “god”; repeated. See note.
