Fragment of a shirt front. Coarse, tabby-woven linen, slit part way down center. Coarse blue and brown wools embroidered in stem and darning stitches form pattern of stars, crescents and stripes. Trimmed with red cotton. Edges raveled; cotton faded. Linen partially browned.
