DescriptionBrisé-type fan with ivory sticks, white silk connecting ribbon (obsured). Design of gold laquered 16 petal crysanthemums (for Empress' use only), fence and birds appears on both sides. Signed on one side "Sensai (egaku)." Long pink, white, gold, light green, violet and red-violet tassels depend from silver ring and rivet; upper parts knitted in Niwa musubi or Awabi musubi style. Korean Quemoc wood box lined with brown silk with crysanthemums and blue velvet.
