Facsimile reproduction of copy of 1515 Froben edition of Erasmus’s “Praise of Folly” with marginal drawings by Hans Holbein the Younger, Ambrosius Holbein, and perhaps two other unknown artists. The second volume is an historical introduction by Heinrich Alfred Schmid.
