DescriptionHelmet-shaped body on a spreading circular foot with a band of gadrooning. Stem has fluted knop. The lower part of the body has applied vertical palmette straps under a molded band. A more pronounced band of dentils is at the shoulder. The spout features auricular waves with a chased scroll and shell ornament below. Harp-shaped handle applied with trailing beading.
Marks Struck on rim by handle with hallmarks (leopard's head, lion passant, date letter for 1696-7) and with maker's mark of ?W in script in heart-shaped punch surmounted by a crown, possibly for David Willaume I, lion passant struck on top of foot
