Circular medal commemorating the 1889 Exposition Universelle. Stamped “BRONZE” on side.

Obverse: Beaded border; female bust looking to proper right, wearing an inscribed head-band; inscribed at edge “REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE”, on head-band “CONCORD”, and under bust “OUDINE”.

Reverse: Aerial view of Eiffel Tower and exposition grounds; signed below and inscribed across field “EXPOSITION/UNIVERSELLE”, below “DANIEL DUPUIS”, and in exergue “1889”.

Inscription

Obverse: Inscribed at edge "REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE", on head-band "CONCORD", and under bust "OUDINE".
