DescriptionThese 7 faded green faience amulet are of wedjat eyes and are graded large to small. The wedjat eye represents Horus' left eye lost in battle and later restored magically by Hathor. The eye came to symbolize wholeness.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Giza, debris West of G 7769. November 1930 : excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
