This is a group of twenty double sided eye of Horus (wedjat) beads. They are pierced side to side, and many have remnants of original string visible in the borings. The backs are flat and the same design is present on front and back.

Provenance

From Giza, Cemetery G 7000 SW, trench XXXIV, debris. 1925: excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
