DescriptionGreen silk ground. With a design of eagles chasing a small bird and a lion, his forequarters issuing from a radiating band seizing a gazelle; woven with very much tarnished and worn gold thread (linen thread wound with gilded skin). Intervening spaces filled with delicate scrolling vine woven with tarnished gold thread and a little blue silk.
