DescriptionMade of two lengths sewn together. Symmetrical vertical repeat showing ogival compartments of red velvet with paired silver rosebuds on bifurcating stems surrounding a central motif showing a silver tulip against a silver pomegranate (?) with a surround of gold leaves. Between these motifs are single large conventionalized silver carnation or daisy blossoms. Half crowns are to be seen at the selvedge edges of each compartment. Metal threads largely worn off and tarnished. selvedges cracked.
