DescriptionDouble paper leaf. Obverse: Design derived from Watteau's "L'Embarquement pour Cythère" (1717). Reverse: oval showing ladies and gentlemen, in 17th century costume, boating on ornamental lake. Twelve heavy sticks mother-of pearl, pierced and incised with cornucopia motifs and ogival arches in applied gilt. Brass button at rivet and ornate ring.
