DescriptionCourtier's fan (Komori). Painted paper leaf. Obverse: seven silver and gold circular vegetative motifs and nine gold bands across center, silver and gold speckling across top and botton, red background. Reverse: gold. Bamboo sticks with indentured guards to give fan partially open appearance; carved motif on guards.
