DescriptionDouble paper leaf. Obverse: two couples dancing, center; woman with dog and man with two women in gondola, left; two women and man with flower basket and couple leaving, right; two painted floral medallions at sides; gilt and black scrollwork at sides, borders. Reverse: man center surrounded by six women, gilt scrollwork at sides, borders. Twelve wide painted papier-mâché sticks decorated with bits of mother-of-pearl; minstrel, other figures center obverse blades and chinoserie figures on guards with "built-up" features. Stylized brass ring with red silk and gilt-silver tassel depending.
