Bound cuscus grass leaf with bands of red and black cotton and natural and purple-and-white twisted yarns at border, unbound cuscus grass mounted at edge; gilt-silver wound around bamboo stick foundation at center. Bands of black and gray cotton, natural and purple-and-white twisted cotton bound to wood foundation at handle. Red painted handle with green bands. (Cuscus grass meant to be wet for cool and fragrant fanning.)
