DescriptionLeaf of ivory-colored silk painted with the scene of Psyche discovering the sleeping Cupid, ornamented with silver foil, gilt sequins and thread. The young god rests under a gold-fringed rose sating canopy supported by "silver" columns wound with garlands. Painted ivory is applied for the women's faces and throats. Twenty bone sticks and guards. Rivet missing; most folds of silk leaf split.
