Double skin leaf. Obverse: “Mercury Slaying Argus.” Reverse: vignette of Arabic gate. Carved ivory sticks form pagoda when closed; chinoiserie motifs with figures on guards above shoulders, mother-of-pearl backing on guards, diamond paste studs in rivet.
