DescriptionObverse: center stipple engraved medallion "Music" (after Bartolozzi), two gouache painted medallions with putti to sides, embroidered brass sequin borders; four Wedgwood style painted cameos, painted floral swags and decorative motifs and borders ornamented with brass sequins; narrow gilt band at top. Reverse: three simple floral swags, some blue outlining of obverse design. Pierced ivory blades ornamented with gilt-silver; cut steel guards. Condition: cannot close due to repairs.
