DescriptionPrimarily in blue and pink tones. Obverse: pastoral scene among architectural ruins, woman with staff left, couple under tree center, man with next and woman with basket right; painted "lace", ribbon and floral borders. Reverse: simple scene of three shrubs, blue and pink floral border. Wavy carved ivory sticks, painted "lace", ribbon and flowers on blades; carved and painted chinoiserie motif with red foil backing above shoulders and tortoiseshell overlaid below shoulders on guards. Mother-of-pearl rings on rivet.
