DescriptionFashion plate depicting a woman (mother) and two children, the children seemingly dressed for fancy dress. Young girl on far left wears a short pink and green dress in the style of a polonaise. Young boy wears an 18th-century style wig and hat with staff and red and gold coat with pink stockings. Woman at her toilette wears a black dress with pink roses and ties a black lace veil over her head. An ermine coat or mantle lays on a chair.
