Fashion plate illustrating nineteenth century women’s fashion. Five women and one child, the three on the right look through heavy curtains at what appears to be a party. The women wear, from left to right, a deep purple dress with geometric black trim, a full gray skirt with a red corset and white blouse, a white dress with subtle floral trim in light blue, a plaid dress with yellow, red, light blue and white, and a teal dress with thick light green stripes towards the bottom. “Mme.
