Circular uniface medal (reverse only) of Federigo da Montefeltro, duke of Urbino (born 1422, count 1444-72, duke 1503-8). Pierced twice at top and molded rim. Reverse: Nude male on horseback looking to proper right, wearing a helmet and holding the a lance in his right hand, while fighting a Chimera, an animal with a lion’s head and body and serpent tail.
