DescriptionThis is a fragment of a female statuette with the left leg and buttock and lower right leg remaining. The pubic triangle is marked with incised dots, and the hips are flexed 45 degrees. It is brown with black buttock, and tattoo marks are on the buttock and left thigh.
ProvenanceFrom Kubban. (ASN 110/244). 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; awarded to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
