The square catch-plate is decorated with waterfowl within a zigzag border on one side. On the other side there is a larger star (rosette?) in the center and four smaller stars around. The bow of the pin has engraved lines. Tiny chips on the edge of the plate and green patina, with light green corrosion in spots.
