Square plate with incised decoration:
A. Horse walking to left, with loose rein; above, bird to left; below, bird flying to left and two stars.
B. Lion walking to right, with prey in mouth; above, star, small flying bird and fish (?); below, two stars.
Green patina; the plate has been cleaned. Slightly corroded.

By date unknown with Edward Perry Warren (according to his records: said to be from Thebes; bought in Athens); 1898: purchased by MFA from Edward Perry Warren for $ 69,618.13 (this figure is the total price for MFA 98.641-98.940)
