Decorated with a dove which forms the back, its head over the catch-plate, its tail covering the wire coil to which the pin is attached. Twisted wire coil to which the pin is attached. Twisted wire filigree edging around the flattish oval body; fine notches in the flat, spade-like tail. Rectangular flat catch-plate bent up at edge to receive pin. Grayish patina with dull patches, some areas of encrustation under body and on coil.
