Hollow pottery statuette made of coarse, straw-tempered Nile silt clay, depicting a woman holding her right hand to her head (her left arm is missing) in a traditional position of mourning. It was originally covered with a white wash, and there are traces of red pigment. The arms, breasts and facial features were modeled by hand and applied.
