Medium or Technique
Woman seated on a large chair with rounded back and curving legs. Himation closely envelopes arms and head. Remains of white on face, red on cheek and lips; white and black on garments. Missing: left hand and one corner of base. A small piece in the front of the base restored.
By date unknown: with Edward Perry Warren (according to Warren's records: Bought in Athens said to be from Thebes [market for Tanagra].); 1897: purchased by MFA from Edward Perry Warren for
