Only part of the tomb was plundered and many artifacts were recovered. The ring was found under necklace 23.365. The cast bezel has three registers with five, seated baboons and two crocodiles.

Provenance

From Meroe, Beg. W 5. January 1923: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
