Recto: 3 lines of Arabic calligraphy in dark brown kufic script; red vocalization marks; gold ribbons above and below the script; illuminated marginal medallion. Verso: finispiece, gold panel of geometric and knotted motifs set in an illuminated border. Horizontal-format vellum.
